BIRTHDAY DAY OUT...

My Birthday was over a month ago now, and I was unable to post this for some reason or another! But we had an amazing time up in Camden town , looking around the market, eating Jamaican food and doughnuts , and just generally taking in our colourful surroundings. ♥
 Usually when i'm heading to Camden , I tend to wear brighter colours (whether that is clothes, or my lipstick) however , today I clearly thought my hair was bright enough. So, I stuck to a more natural bronze glow ( Yes, this is me with bronzer on haha) being such a pale thing - and kept to my usual 'go to' golden brown eyeshadow shade, with mascara obviously and my top waterline lined with Kohl pencil eyeliner. I also used a small amount of benetint near the top of my bottom lip, to give a subtle ombre effect.


There was so much to look at as we had expected , which is why we went early in the day to allow us plenty of time! We did some thrift shopping in Camden thrift shop, and also got some unique items from the market. I managed to get some good photos of the crazy-coloured surroundings ( which is basically everywhere you look) and was inspired by half of the people walking around in exactly what they wanted to wear; despite some of the strange looks they might get.

 We had a very tasty Jamaican lunch , in a small restaurant with a 100% Jamaican specialised menu. It was one of those meals I hadn't really tried before, and hallelujah - they had a Vegetarian section. Without going into detail (because I don't really remember!) I had a potato dauphinoise , fried plantain, chickpea, sweet potato and carrot fritter platter - with mixed bean brown rice and a jerk sauce.

SPECKLED LILAC SPARKLY FLOWER FACE ? ♡ Ive been growing very bored of doing similar makeup on the day to day , so I have decided to mix it up a bit. Not really sure what this lewk is, but who doesn't love sparkles, flowers and fake freckles ?! HEHEHE  None of the products I use are particularly expensive because - a) I'm young and poor & b) Branded and expensive , doesn't necessarily mean better queens! Here are some of the product's I used: Eyes - Superdrug Fantasy Queen of Darkness hair  glitter pot.   Also a shimmery lilac eyeshadow - which is sold out but here's one  similar one. Eyelashes -  Superdrugs own brand  (cut in half so only on the ends). Faux Freckles - I used a mixture of water based face paint for the darker bits and Nyx  liquid white eyeliner. I'm definitely no makeup artist , but hopefully this inspires someone to experiment a little. Let me know what you think ! Mia  ♡

LONDON PRIDE 2018

HAPPY PRIDE TO EVERY MEMBER OF THE LGBTQ+ GANG  ! Hope everyone is living a super duper proud life , and loving whoever the hell they want to. Me and Esther had such a good time this year having a boogie around trafalgar square - we joined in with a silent disco, and we got to watch Alyssa Edwards from Drag Race perform like the queen she is! We also managed to find a very lovely group of people to tag along with until the early hours, along with one of my good friends from school. I feel like it's so much easier to make friends, and come across as 'approachable' when your all glittery and covered in rainbows, haha! PUSSIES AGAINST TRUMP

The Million Woman March (London) It was overwhelming to see how many supporters - male and female - had gathered around London. Everyone , no matter what they looked like (or colour, sexuality , age) was joining in with banners and posters ; marching , shopping and making the best out of a bad situation. People were actually stopping to talk to one another , and smiles were shared between complete strangers which was sadly strange to see. It's odd how sometimes all we need is a common threat and lack of humanity , to trigger a friendly , compassionate and HUMAN side to us all. Mia <3
